Ivy League institution partners with Viney to appeal to prospective students with fresh content

Columbia University’s Graduate School of Education initially approached Viney in 2012 with hopes of acquiring a boutique firm to support the Office of Admissions marketing department. Over the years, we have been responsible for the design layout and copyediting for both online and traditional marketing collateral. Our work has helped promote diversity initiatives, financial aid and degree programs, with the goal of attracting prospective students to Teachers College.

Diversity Brochure

Teachers College’s existing diversity brochure needed to be updated to its current style guide and communicate a message for millennials in academia. The team at Viney joined forces with the TC’s marketing department to strategize, design, and develop a new brochure to attract a more diverse applicant pool.

Diversity Scholarships

We produced a series of e-newsletters that launched new scholarships aimed at increasing minority enrollment. The project featured design layout, copywriting and programming.

Content Creation:

Financial Aid Website

Before the Viney Group was tasked with restructuring and rewriting the content for Financial Aid, the department’s website was riddled with pages of inconsistent and outdated information. Our work resulted in clean copy, which was integrated into a new web layout that provides current students with an improved information finding experience as well as attracts prospective students. Digital Ads:

New York Times

We designed effective display ads for various degree programs to be featured on the New York Times website. The ads focused on a compelling and concise message with a clear call to action to those considering post-graduate work in education.
